The morning was brisk and yet Louisa Mae Carbone was dressed in a sleek back dress that showed off how tall she was as she leaned against the outer door to the pool house waiting on the approach of her twin. They were planning on using the weekend to lock themselves up in the large room with the snack bar and the big screen TV and do a movie marathon.
A cool wind blew at Louisa's skirt and she decided that instead of waiting outside she would retreat in to the warmth of the pool house and starting pulling movies she was interested in watching. They were mostly romantic comedies and Louisa knew that her sweet twin would love every single one of them.

Sophia was supposed to do something today, she was sure of it. She spun around in her spinny chair, knees tucked up to her chest as she tried to remember what it was. Then she stopped. She was supposed to meet Louisa at the pool house at...she looked down at her watch, now. She leapt off her chair so quickly she almost fell over. She didn't bother to change, she just grabbed her shoes and whipped out the door. She raced down to the pool house, so that she out of breath when she got there. She darted inside and almost ran into her sister. "Hey sista! Sorry I'm late can you believe I forgot!" She wrapped her arms around Louisa's neck and gave her hug that ended almost as soon as it started. She looked down at her sister's dress, "You look hot." She said with a smirk. She herself was wearing a floral pink tank top and denim shorts. Some people might feel awkwardly under dressed, but Sophia was used to her sister's wardrobe and it didn't bother her at all. "So which one are we watching first?" she said, rolling on the balls of her feet.

Louisa couldn't help but roll her eyes. She should have known her twin would have forgotten about their meeting. It was such a...Sophie....thing to do. Despite it all Louisa's brightest smile appeared on her face and she had to say, No worries, Soph, I was just worried that you had tripped and fallen down some stairs or something... She expressed her worry as she pulled the movie Failure to Launch from the top of the stack of movies she had put on the coffee table, I was thinking Matthew McConaughey is always a safe bet.
Before even waiting for a response, Louisa popped the movie in to the DVD player and made sure the stereo was on before flicking on the TV and watching the big blue screen flicker over to the DVD menu for Failure to Launch. Sarah Jessica Parker's face cover what seemed like the whole wall and Louisa fell in to the couch in the most gracefully way a person could fall.

She put her hands on her hips and clicked her tongue in mock outrage, though considering that had actually happened before she supposed she could see where Louisa was coming from. It was at that precise moment that she noticed the DVDs on the counter. "Ooh," She said excitedly as she went over to examine them. She looked up to see that Louisa had already picked one. Her mouth opened and her eyes smiled, she loved that one, but she looked down at the others with a frown. She liked them too. She pressed her lips together and forced herself to put them down and walk over to the couch with her sister. It was probably good that she picked one out since Sophie would have spent forever doing so. Louisa had already started it so she jumped onto the couch but got a up a second later, as something was missing. "I need popcorn, where's the food oh there it is." She said in a rush as she ran over to get herself some snacks. "You want anything?" she called over her shoulder, not bothering to keep her voice down.

For a moment, Louisa was completely captivated by the annoying background music the producers of the movie had chosen as the theme song. It was a bounce little tune that, the first time you hear it, could easily set you up for the movie and put you in a good mood. Unfortunately for Louisa, it had played about six times by now and was officially getting on her last nerve.
With Sophia's question, Louisa was torn from her self-created hell just long enough to remember she wasn't alone in the room. She smiled and nodded, A smartwater and some popcorn sounds heavenly, sissy. Lousa called out, equally as loud. She glanced back at the screen and before she allowed herself to be reclaimed by the song, she muted the tv, I wish they would chose less annoying songs for the men screen... she commented before hollwering over her shoulder, Hurry up!

"Gotcha." She grabbed a couple popcorns and the smartwater. She reached for a Dr. pepper, but then quickly pulled her hand back. Her lip puckered a little as he hand hovered awkwardly while she tried to decide if she should get it. Her craving won out though, and wasn't that what hang outs like these were for, to not worry about anything except having fun? She practically ran back to the couch, "Don't start without me!" she said though it was clear Louisa was waiting for her. She had barely sat down when she said, "Jeez Louisa start it already, what's taking you so long?" She grinned at and grabbed a handful of her sister's popcorn.

With anyone else, Louisa would have screamed at them for being rude. But instead, she reached over and thwacked Sophia on the arm lightly with the remote before turning the sound back on and starting the movie. The opening credits rolled and a very handsome looking actor strutted across the set in front of them, Just gotta love you some Matthew, huh? asked Louisa, watching the man more than the movie as she nudged her twin in the arm.

"Yeah." she said with a giggle then she sighed, "and some hot love scenes." She turned to her sister, "Can you believe I've been single for almost eight months? It's like the guys here don't like me or something." She said glumly, though she was only being partially serious. Being single was kind of sad, but it was also a lot less stressful and made life so much less complicated. Plus her last relationship had had a pretty bad break up, they were always bad when you weren't the one breaking up, and so she'd been lying it low for a while. But that didn't mean she wasn't looking a little bit.

Louisa narrowed her eyes at her sister, Soph, what have I told you about relationship? Louisa asked in a serious tone as the movie played quietly in the backgorund, They are a waste of time and effort that you could be putting toward your career. she replied in answer to her own question. Louisa popped a handful of popcorn in her mouth before taking a small sip of Sophia's Dr. Pepper and grinning sweetly.

"Ta not ta." she replied in a sad imitation of mater. "But they're not always like that! And all the good stars have sweet little boyfriends so I got to find me a sweet little boyfriend too." She smiled cutely as though to emphasize the sweet part.
She looked over at her sister in mock indignation. "One of these days Louisa I'm going to find you guy who's super sweet and funny and You're going to fall head over heels for him." She had no idea why Louisa hadn't had as many boyfriends as she did. She was as pretty as Sophie, and she knew how to flaunt better than Sophia did. Plus she knew how to pull off sexy since looking hot was in her job description.

With a shake of her curly blonde head, Louisa denied Sophia's ultimatum, Don't waste your time, Sweety. There are plenty of unfocused people out there dying for a relationship. She took a swig from her smartwater and then leaned over to place the bottle and the bowl of popcorn on the coffee table, Relationships just aren't for me. I have only had one actual boyfriend and we all know how that turned out.
Louisa scrunched her nose as she thought back on her first and only boyfriend. He was tall and handsome. She had met him at a modelling gig in New York City and she had fallen for him immediately. His name was Joshua Florence and he was the perfect man. And evidently, Louisa was not the perfect woman because he left her shortly after their first date for a model from the UK. It was that moment when Louisa decided dating was irrational and irrelevant if she wanted to seriously pursue her dreams.

Sophia sighed. Out of all the things that made her and Louisa so different, relationships was definitely one of them. She remembered that one boyfriend too, she been so mad when she'd found out what he'd done. "You can't give up on all relationships just because one person breaks you're heart." She said softly, leaning her head on her sister's shoulder, " Especially not over a guy that didn't deserve you anyway." She sat up again, a small, sweet smile on her lips. " You'll find someone, one day." She then leaned back on the couch determined to watch this part of the movie. "Now let's go back to the beginning of this conversation where I don't have a boyfriend..."
