Ashlyn twiddled her pencil between her fingers, bored. Somehow sitting in a math class listening to a teacher drone on about logarithms didn't fit in with her image of "Prestigious French Art School." They hadn't mentioned anything about it in any of their recruiting papers or in orientation, but as she thought about she decided she'd been stupid not to realize that they would still have to finish their education. She sighed, It wasn't like she hated school. She'd gotten great grades back it her old high school and had even signed up for a few AP classes before deciding to come here. But their was something almost -cruel- about being able to pursue her passion all day with some surprisingly great teachers and classes and then being forced to go to- math. really, the only core class besides englsih she still wanted to take was history, but since she was going to foreign school they didn't offer United States History. They did have a world history class, but it wasn't required for her and she hadn't had room in her schedule. She resisted the urge to put her head on her desk as the lecture continued. Usually when she was bored she wrote in her journal. But she'd been-hesitant-about writing in it lately. So instead she glanced around the room, hoping to find something else to pay attention too.
